It's an ongoing endeavor.
There's always a new book in the works. A work in progress.
By old habit, this girl cheerily rises with the sun. Sunday morning, 5:30 came around fast as she tiptoed into our bedroom.
"Dad, is it time to get up yet?", she asked. He ushered her quietly back to bed as to not wake her still slumbering brothers.
A couple hours later, she proudly emerged from atop her bed with a book of sorts.
A journal highlighting her fantastic outing to the UNC/Georgia Tech basketball game the day prior. "Dad, remember when you sent me back to my room to sleep this morning? Well, I didn't go to sleep!", she proudly exclaimed.
Straight Arrow received tickets to the game just minutes before it began. Fun times!
Straight Arrow carried Green Light on his shoulders through the pouring rain. There's Roundabout tagging along beside.
We cheer for UNC! Georgia Tech had yellow jerseys.
104 points that UNC gracefully scored! Yay! (I can't believe she remembered the score! The backwards 4 is classic of her lately....we're working on that ;)
Dad got the kids some popcorn and M&Ms. It's all about makin' memories, right?
Walking back home from the game...dodging all the crazy drivers.
Hilarious.

That was so Awesome. I am impressed. What a smart girl Roundabout is. She has a great memory and great artistic ability.
PS Bop LOVED his card from her. Thank you for sending it.
She has great penmanship! What a cute book.
That was amazing! I am glad she is growing up to be such a good tar heel fan--and such a smart girl, too!
I am so proud of her. She made a wonderful book (maybe this is a good start for journal writing). She is so smart and and very artistic.
She actually writes in her journal everyday as part of our school and for her writing practice.
She is way smart and SO advanced for her age. Homeschooling will be so great for her. That is definitely some late 1st grade work going on there. And she is so self-directed! If Andrew woke up at 5:30am (which he does often) he would just go and wake up his brother so he wouldn't be lonely!
OH MY!! That made my day! That is the cutest thing ever. You should make that book into an actual hardcover book. She is so cute and what a great memory! I was laughing so hard at the dancer picture (So observant)! Thanks for sharing this!
