Hole, no more.

Roundabout truly believed that the #1 reason for Grandpa's visit earlier this month was not to see us, was not to have fun, was not to go to the beach with us. He visited to fix the hole in her wall.

When we moved into our new home, one of the only problems we didn't immediately take care of was a hole in her bedroom wall that was about the size of a basketball. As you might imagine, a princess like Roundabout would not be excited about a hole in her wall. The imagination of a young princess can run wild: mice could come through the hole, monsters might be down there, or even worse, bugs. So, for six weeks, the hole has been nicely covered by a corkboard, but it hasn't been forgotten despite being hidden by loads of artwork.

One of the fun things about having our Grandpa is that he lets the kids help at everything, hole-fixing included. They got to go with him on his trip to Lowe's to acquire all of the necessary items to fix the hole. And they even got to help him measure, mud, and sand the new sheet rock.

Now, the wall is stronger than it was before the hole. Yay for handy Grandpas!

You think it is great now, but wait, She is going to put another hole in her wall as an excuse to get Gpa to come back and visit. LOL
