One less chore on my list.

I have a firm belief in chores for children. After all, it's my job to train them up to be responsible adults someday. Our chore training usually starts at age four. Our third child as seen his older siblings do their own jobs with pride and wanted one of his own. He took it upon himself to find some responsibility to claim.

He never fails. He never forgets. Usually within minutes of the dishwasher being unloaded, he fulfills his chore to make sure it is complete when the time comes to reload and wash. I, in fact, have had this chore marked off of my list for months. He's just that reliable.

His chosen chore: loading the soap packet into the dishwasher.
