Animal Kingdom

Disney is a hard place to take pictures!  Unless you're posing, there are really no good photo ops in my opinion.
waiting outside of Dinosaur for the rest of our crew (who were tall enough to ride!)

Tuesday we headed to Animal Kingdom.  Highlights of our day included the Safari, The Finding Nemo show, and Expedition Everest (but not so much for Roundabout!), but not Dinosaur.  As I was waiting with Curvy Road outside of the ride to do the Parent Switch Pass, I had a slight inkling that the ride wasn't going to be a favorite of our kids when I saw every other kid come out of there bawling.  I ended up not going on it either.

We remembered Kilimanjaro Safaris from our last Disney trip and we loved it then.  Still loved it this time!  Pretty amazing wildlife on this beautiful Earth.

Grandpa was the super hero every day of our trip.  Between his antics, stroller derby riding, and his iPhone apps and movies, he kept the kids well entertained.  Green Light especially took to him...and soaked in every single second of their time together. Quite Literally.

We had wished to see The Lion King show while we were there, but the kids were just too tired by the end of our list.  Evidence of tired kids?  Curvy Road fell asleep during his nightly personal scripture study.

All in all, it was an awesome day!  Love Animal Kingdom!  The Birds of Flight show was really cool, Nemo was a must-see, and Expedition Everest was one of the most exhilarating rollercoasters I've been on.  Awesomeness.
