Happy 4th of July! We had a blast of a day!
Here are some of the freedoms we enjoyed:
We chose to pray.
We chose to go to the church of our choice, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We chose to eat pancakes and cinnamon rolls.
We chose to attend a parade.
We chose to spend time as a family.
We chose to decorate bikes with red, white, and blue streamers.
Green Light chose to have help.
The kids chose to ride until they couldn't ride any longer.
We chose to celebrate at the Town celebration for our last year here.
We chose to stand in a super long line to play on an inflatable obstacle course.
I chose to wear my new flip flops that gave me blisters.
We chose to not attend the Marshall family fish fry.
We chose to take mid-day naps.
We chose to eat a healthy dinner.
We chose to go to a friend's home for fun and fireworks.
We chose to let the kids stay up way late.
We chose to be hot and sweaty all day while being covered in sunscreen and bugspray.
We chose to get dirty and muddy.
We chose to watch fireworks in the rain.
We chose to kiss each other.
We chose to play with sparklers.
We chose to have family prayer in the car on the way home in the rain.
We chose to listen to patriotic music.
We chose to read our scriptures.
We chose to give thanks for the soldiers in our country like my Uncle Bryan in Iraq.
We chose to be with friends.
We chose to brave 94 degree heat.
We chose to take pictures of our family.
We chose to feel happy.
We chose to be thankful.
We chose to play Hungry, Hungry Hippos.
Roundabout chose to wear an American flag bandana.
I chose to wear a star bandana under my white sun visor.
We chose to jump on a trampoline.
We chose to feed the goats.
We chose to wear SPF 50 sunblock.
We chose to get fast food for lunch for the kids.
We chose to let Snowball ride on the back of Roundabout's bike.
Green Light chose to have spiky hair.
Rest Area chose to be the best portable baby ever.
We chose to watch the fireworks from our living room window.
We chose to love each other.
We chose to eat homemade ice cream.
We chose each other.
We chose life.
We chose liberty.
We chose freedom.
We chose to celebrate our country.
We chose the United States of America!
