Goodbye Summertime...
Alas, it is indeed the FIRST DAY OF FALL. My, oh my, has the weather been grand this week! Mid to high-70s is just my kind of day! And in tribute to the summer of 2008, we take a look back at all the fun we've had in the scorching sun.

Goodbye summertime thunderstorms that drop enough rain for puddle jumping...
Goodbye hot summer days that require something cold...
Goodbye hot, steamy bug chasing....
Goodbye sweaty bike rides...
Goodbye family nights at the game...
Goodbye beautiful blueberries....
Goodbye spongeball target practice...
Goodbye gorgeous lake views in Hickory...
We loved you, oh blessed summertime. But we are sure glad to see autumn!!!

Ahhhh! Summer truly is over but fall brings wonderful color and wonderful smells.
