oh little heart, melt.

It's been one of those days.
Straight Arrow forewarned me a week ago that this Christmas break would largely be spent working on his research and Master's thesis. And today was one of those days.
A day when Green Light bit Roundabout on the arm
A day of Lite Brites and the pieces spilling on the floor.
A day of finally getting out in the fresh air only to find that it was raining.
A day of realizing that Green Light's new big boy bike has a gimp wheel.
A day without naps.
A day of bonks and bruises.
A day of timeouts and tears.
Yes, the list goes on. It's just been one of those days.

How's this on your pillowcase for a day's ending? Would it melt you heart?

It does mine!

Ah yes those fun unstructured days! I usually love Christmas break every morning of it... but end up putting the kids to bed early every night. :-)

She is such a sweet girl. I swear kids know when we need things like that. Its not just by chance.

She is a sweetheart. Children and grandchildren are the best.
