Flash back two weeks.

Excitement and thrill accompanied the countdown to the Daddy&Daughter Valentine Dance. She talked incessantly throughout the week about what dress to wear, how to do her hair, what her makeup would look like, which shoes would be the best dancing shoes. After all, she was the belle of the ball, don't you know?

Well, turns out that they did dance the night away. The chosen dress finally came down to her white ball gown with rosebuds or the white dress with black velvet jacket. Black and white won...classy! Purple eyeshadow, lip gloss, and blush were applied. Pigtails went up though the planned spiraled curls had to be omitted on account of short time. And although her shiny, black shoes were worn for pictures, she tucked her soft ballet slippers in her Daddy's pocket for dancin'.

The night was topped off for this special little girl with an ice cream sundae and a trip out with Dad to get a little Valentines surprise for the beloved Mama! Aren't they such a rosy shade of pink?
