Rock out, baby.

In Chapel Hill, we had a standing tradition of having Uncle Gary and Aunt Sarah over for dinner every Sunday evening. It was a marvelous time of our week! We loved every minute of it. The kids especially looked forward to Sunday evenings. It was a time of utter chaos most weeks, but it was all good energy. The kids insisted on showing their aunt and uncle every new (and not so new) thing that they owned. It was always a competition for their attention.

Now, we've settled into the tradition of eating together every Fast Sunday (the 1st Sunday of each month when we choose to fast for two consecutive meals in our faith). Since Christmas is fast approaching, this was most likely out last chance to see Uncle Gary and Aunt Sarah until after their trip to Utah. So, they brought along with them a few gifts.

Gary and Green Light have always shared the love of all things electronics, specifically television, movies, and video games. As much as I've tried to shelter Green Light from these things, it has always been in his personality to be drawn to them. On a recent visit to Durham, the kids were playing Guitar Hero with Uncle Gary...and Green Light was in love with the guitar. And now thanks to them, he has his own. Rock out, baby!

You are a natural rocker. Uncle Brandon would also be proud.
